Its is beautiful as expected, but we did like Koh Samui a bit more. I will post a full summary of our trip on the next post;)
Anyway so we got here and we are staying in a place called Cosy Bungalows and we were a bit afraid of the bungalow as last experience on Koh PhiPhi we really didnt enjoy the visitors we had (lizards, cockroaches, ants etc) :p
And as we feared we had some spiders and loads of litte ants everywhere so we had to go around killimg them and spraying them with mosquito spray which i think helps;)
The worst thing is leaving any rubbish like food leftovers or fruit in the room, they will be on it straight away!
But the bungalow is literally at the beach! You open the door and 3 meters to the sea! So thats obviously amazing!
The sea is clear green and the sand is soft and white but there isnt much room to sunbathe unless you want to sit next to the restaurant/ bar on the beach chairs ( I think they have only 2 of them). So far we havnt been able to sunbathe here at all unfortunately as its been cloudy and raining all the time!:(
It' s still nice and we also did something we should have done from the first time we got to Thailand- rent a scooter!
We have been paying for tuk tuk's ( the open taxis) as when we tried one of the scooters in Ayutthaya
Archie really couldnt balance it and the exelerator was too sensitive, plus the scooter seemed super old and thats the fist time we tried to ride one so because we had a bad experience we thought all of them are like that and stayed away.. But here we agreed to try again and this ended up being great!
We went around the island- to see different beaches and mountains and views!
There is amazing nature put here and I wish we would have done it in more islands espevially Krabi and Koh Samui as I feel they both had much more to offer than were we stayed. We only saw a glimpse of the islands without the scooter.
We managed to get under a massive rain as well. We also visited a local Muay Thai gym which also had all the equipment one needs to have a good workout;) its called Koh Phangan Muay Thai & Fitness Gym.
Now we are chilling at this seaside restaurant bar which has the best wifi and lookimg out to the sea whilst its raining. Most places her have the hammocks here so you can really relax and swing away;)
Tomorrow we have a long trip with a boat and then a sleeper train to Bangkok, after that we will have a day at Bangkok and a night in a hotel followed by our flights back home. Archie will go back to uk and me to Estonia - so different flights that last a whole day all togteher..
And then home sweet home- cant wait!;)
Sending you kisses!
Here are some pictures from the amazing nature in Koh Phangan;)
